Shah Allah Ditta's Buddhist caves are one of the oldest place in Islamabad. It is located at the foothills of the Margalla Hills in the Islamabad Capital territory. The Buddhist Caves of Shah Allah Ditta are also known as Sadhu ka Bagh.
The village is believed to be more than 7 hundred years old and was used as a route from Kabul to Gandharan city of Taxila by Alexander The great an Sher Shah Suri.
We started our journey form Bahria University E-8 Islamabad and It was about 20 minutes drive from Bahria University. This place is a peaceful spot for quiet picnic.
Caves although a small place but still has a unique attraction due to its calmness and natural look.
